The tour starts in Fukuoka, and then travel into Nagasaki where you can visit Western
and Christianity influenced historical sites and Sasebo to enjoy the amazing scenery of Kujuku-shima. In addition, you will have a chance to visit the birthplace of Japanese porcelain, Arita town in Saga prefecture.

Day 1 - Fukuoka

Arrive at Fukuoka airport or JR Hakata station.

At JR Hakata Station, please exchange your JR Kyushu Rail Pass
and reserve your seats for your choice of train.

After Hotel check in, explore Fukuoka city!

Tour Highlights

Nagasaki Prefecture is located in the northwest part of Kyushu and has numerous sites of historical interest filled with a multitude of cultural treasures.

During the period of National Isolation (1641-1858), Nagasaki acted as the only opened port to the rest of the world. An indirect effect of that policy was to endow the region with a unique culture; traditional Nagasaki arts, crafts and foods are all renowned for their touch of exoticism, and the city's landscape is a notable mixture of Japanese, European and Chinese styles.

Day 3 - Nagasaki - Sasebo

After Hotel check out, make your own way to JR Nagasaki station and travel to Sasebo
by JR Train, using JR Kyushu Rail Pass (approx. 2 hrs)
Complimentary shuttle bus is available to Yumihari no Oka Hotel from Sasebo Station

Depart Arita to Hakata (Fukuoka) by JR Train, using JR Kyushu Rail Pass (approx. 90 min.)
