Day 1 - Fukuoka

Arrive at Fukuoka airport or JR Hakata station.

Fukuoka is the largest city in Kyushu and a gateway to Kyushu Island for the majority of visitors. Fukuoka often called one of the best gourmet cities in Japan. So don’t forget to try some of the local foods while you are in Fukuoka!

Day 2 - Fukuoka -Takachiho

After check out Hotel, make your own way to Hakata Bus Terminal

Depart from Hakata Bus Terminal at 10:00,
Arrive at Takachiho Bus Center at 13:35 by Highway Bus, using SUNQ Pass

After check in your baggage at Hotel, enjoy exploring Takachiho Gorge on foot and by rental boat!
*The rental boat operation is subject to water level of the river and other conditions.

After dinner, enjoy Takachiho Kagura Dance at Kagura Theatre
in Takachiho Shrine (Admission fee 700 yen per person)

Day 3 - Takachiho -Kumamoto

After Hotel check out, make your own way to Takachiho Bus Centre

Depart from Takachiho Bus Centre at 08:31,
Arrive at Kumamoto Kotsu Bus Center at 11:14 by Highway Bus, using SUNQ Pass

Free to explore Kumamoto city.

Tour Highlights

Kumamoto Prefecture is located along the west coast of Kyushu. It’s less than 40mins away by Shinkansen train from Hakata (Fukuoka) station. Kumamoto is blessed with magnificent and abundant nature and its famous for Mt Aso which is an active volcano with one of the world's largest calderas. The city's most famous landmark is Kumamoto Castle and it’s considered one of the three premier castles in Japan, along with Himeji Castle and Matsumoto Castle.

Day 4 - Kumamoto – Mt. Aso
- Kurokawa Onsen

After Hotel check out, make your own way to Kumamoto Kotsu Centre

Depart from Kumamoto Kotsu Centre at 09:16,
Arrive at Mt. Aso Nishi Eki at 11:04 by Cross Kyushu Bus, using SUNQ Pass

Take Mt. Aso Ropeway (1200yen for round trip) to get close to the largest crater in the world!
*As an active volcano, the Ropeway operations are subject to the volcanic activities of Mt. Aso Please check here for current status.

Depart from Mt. Aso Nishi Eki at 12:35,
Arrive at Kusasenri at 12:40 by Cross Kyushu Bus, using SUNQ Pass

Have a lunch at one of the restaurants with view of Kusasenri(thousands square meters grassy plain) and visit Mt. Aso Volcano Museum or have a little trekking the area.

Depart from Kusasenri at 14:20,
Arrive at Kurokawa Onsen at 15:37 by Cross Kyushu Bus, using SUNQ Pass
